On December 16th, 2011, a blogfest was held where participants re-posted their favorite blog offering, or one that never received the exposure it should have. On that day the blogosphere was chock full of past writing brilliance! Encouragement, enlightenment, knowledge, bared souls, stimulation, hilarity, insecurities, success stories! All on display…the very same day…like no other time before.
The list of links on MR. LINKY below point directly to the post for that day so that anyone who missed the blogfest can still peruse some really dynamite blog posts. Enjoy!
I'm in! :o) Sounds awesome.
ReplyDeleteIn! I have two posts that I can't decide between. Great idea to recycle old ones :)
ReplyDeleteI'll do it...but can I wait to post the blog with the badge and everything until tomorrow or later this evening? I'm swamped at work right now...I can do it tonight at home, though.
ReplyDeleteHi! Coming over from Lydia K's.
ReplyDeleteHey, a blogfest which is basically like a day off? I'm in.
Okay...I know about codes and stuff but can't figure out how to get it..
ReplyDeleteCount me in! :-)

ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea, sounds like fun.
ReplyDeleteYvonne,
Signing up--great way to find out about other blogs I want to follow with minimal effort!
ReplyDeleteSaw it on Katie's blog and signed up! One of the few days in December I was open... what are the odds?
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! I can't even remember what I posted about when I first started blogging! It'll be fun to look back :)
ReplyDeleteThis is such a great idea--since the holidays are always so chaotic, it will be nice to have one thing done for me!
ReplyDeleteIn!
ReplyDeleteIn! Hmm...I feel like I just lived this exact moment.
Looking forward.
This sounds like fun! I'm definitely in. :)
ReplyDeleteBrilliant idea! How DO you come up with these amazing Blogfests?
ReplyDeleteMy Blog
Great idea! And easy! :D
ReplyDeleteI signed up yesterday.
ReplyDeleteSounds cool, guy. Except I can't think of any old posts I'd want to repost. I'll keep your page up. Let me think about this. It's a really good idea.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! Sign me up :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! I'm in! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm in. How can I resist posting something I've already written. I've got many early posts that probably have been read by only a few people.

Tossing It Out
I'm in! But, DL (HELP!) I signed up twice in error. How do I deactivate the second entry? Working my way through getting the badge on my site next.
ReplyDeleteI took care of it Gloria! :)
ReplyDeleteNot sure how I ended up here, but I'm here and I posted one of my favorites! I hope you enjoy it too!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great idea. I have post from back when I only had a handful of followers as well that I often considered re-posting and now I have the perfect opportunity plus I will get to read the best of so many others as well. Brilliant idea.
ReplyDeleteSigned up. Now to pick a post....
ReplyDeleteThis is a great idea - this should make for a great few days of blog surfing.
ReplyDeleteI experimented putting the graphic with a link in the sidebar of my blog, but for some reason it kept messing up the formatting of the rest of the blog so I had to remove it. I will post an article about the blogfest tomorrow instead. I hope that's okay.
ReplyDeleteJust found this, Don. I'm in!!
ReplyDeleteCame over from Colin Smith's blog. Fun blogfest idea! Definitely will participate. Thanks!

I've found may way via Lee, over at Tossing it Out.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great opportunity to dig up a post I wrote before followers started showing up and taking an interest in what goes on over here at PEARSON REPORT.
I'm looking forward to dropping in on the others taking part in this challenge - sounds like fun.
Cheers, Jenny
Oh sounds so cool! I've kind of taken a month of of blogging because we moved to Seattle and then there was NaNoWriMo to worry about! I can't wait to read what everyone has to say!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great Blogfest. I just signed up and am looking forward to meeting some new people!
ReplyDeleteThis should be fun and interesting. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteSounds like Fun. I can do this.
ReplyDeleteGood excuse to do what I've always wanted to!
ReplyDeleteI've added the Blogging from A to Z blog in #108. We're doing some reposts for several weeks around the time of Deja Vu so this is a natural blogfest for us to be in. On 12/16 Stephen Tremps Reflections post will be reprinted.
ReplyDeleteLee
Would you like to share your A to Z experience? See this week's post.
Blogging from A to Z
Wow, you've already got a huge list, but I'll give it a try.
ReplyDeleteNice to meet you! I'm here via Julie's "What Else is Possible?" blog.
Great idea! As simple as effective.
ReplyDeleteOK,I signed up and I hope I won't be sorry. Not sure what I would want to recycle, but I'm sure I'll find something.
ReplyDeleteEither I'm the most challenged blogger out there or technology hates me. Either way, I can't find the subscribe button on Mr.Linky. Help, please.i'm registered, but then...
This sounds made to order for me - I've been scrambling for post ideas lately!

ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting. Looking forward to this.
ReplyDeleteI´m in :-) Great idea!!
ReplyDeleteI'm in. I have a reaaaal oldie that's one of my faves. It's actually from a blog I don't do anymore, but it's appropriate to my current blog.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a fun one to do.
ReplyDeleteI'm in. I already have something in mind. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm in. Hey, Christmas is coming and I have nothing to do. What can I say?
ReplyDeleteCool idea! I'm going to join in...and hopefully I'll actually remember to post an Oldie but Goodie on the 16th!
ReplyDeleteJoining also under youngish and the tormented scribe. In for a penny in for pound as the saying goes.
ReplyDeleteAh ... it's been forever since I participated in a blogfest - - and this sounds perfect! Thanks!!
ReplyDeleteCan newbies play?
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! This will be fun. Now I'll have to spend tonight looking through old posts -- or better yet, let my husband decide for me since he always knows better anyway. Ha!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! But sticking to one post could be a bit of a challenge ;)
ReplyDeleteSue
Such a great idea! I found this in just the nick of time!
ReplyDeleteI like how lazy this feels
ReplyDeleteSounds like fun! I'm in!

(my creative writing blog)
An old post I did on daily life in the Middle Ages is up.
ReplyDeleteI'm in, and post posted :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for giving even beginning bloggers a chance for putting their best "old" blog forward!
ReplyDeleteJumping in! Can't wait to cruise around and read everyone's posts!
ReplyDeleteFinding out late as usual, but I'm in! My flashback will be up this evening.
ReplyDeleteDropping in to say hello. Came by way of Alex J. I appreciate it very much, when people that have tasted success, remain planted and help the less successful. I will be looking into a few of the other entries, as I am always up for a good read. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteJust stopping by to say hello! I think I double posted. Sorry! I couldn't find where I linked up right away.
ReplyDeleteI'm really looking forward to reading what everyone has written!
I posted but forgot to paste badge. Realized after I hit send! Sorry, next time! Really like this concept and always a wonderful way to meet other bloggers....
ReplyDeleteSo many, many words...
ReplyDeleteJust found out about this today and think it's a great idea. I resurrected a post from 2007!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
I've been enjoying the fest, but then realized I'd totally forgotten to become a follower of your blog! Thanks for creating this cool opportunity to meet other writers!
ReplyDeleteI love blogfests. I usually participate as soon as I find out there's one going on. I found out about yours through Carol Kilgore at Under the Tiki Hut ;) However, I think we're already following each other.
ReplyDeleteCheers!
Great! My first blogfest! I'm excited and eager!
ReplyDeleteI found this one out through my great friend and writer Claudia Del Balso.
Cheers!
Late in posting but happy to participate!
ReplyDeleteTalk about missing a great blog post! I missed this so now it's actually December 17th! But, since it's only 1:49 AM on December 17th and it's still December 16th in California and Hawaii (but, frankly, I don't even know what day it is in New Guinea), I'm going to go ahead and dig up an oldie (no, not Grandma). Thanks!
