A is for….All Aboard
The day has finally arrived and everyone’s ticket has been
punched, but it's not too late to jump aboard. You can sign up here until Monday night. Together we have already swelled to 1648
strong and once this train gets moving there will be no slowing it down. How awesome is that?! But there is still room for you!
Our fearless leader Arlee, along with his co-hosts,
have slaved for months making sure every T is crossed and I dotted, ensuring
each participant is as prepared as they can be for the next 26 days. I don’t
know about you, but I’m psyched! Since
I’m not doing a theme and for the most part I’m winging this (some post are
already scheduled), I totally expect to be a frazzled mess on May 1st.
But I’ll be a mess with a satisfied smile on my face. :)
Who's taking this trip with me? All-aboard!
This is gonna be one crazy month. that's for sure.
ReplyDeleteWoohoo! I'm actually prepared this year. I've scheduled most of my posts already. It's gonna be a breeze! Yeah... :o
ReplyDeleteWinging it sounds like fun, I almost did that!:)
ReplyDeleteUniversal Gibberish
This challenge is definitely a good reason to get myself back into the swing of blogging as I've been a bit slack of late. Yes, I'm charged! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm aboard.

I'm just as prepared as I was last year. Which means I'm going to have to get up at about 5:30 each morning to try and figure out what to write.
ReplyDeleteI'm on the train. Did I tell you I'm also doing a 20-stop blog tour in April? Yes, I'm CRaZZY.
ReplyDeleteon the a to z express...

haha - I'm winging it too - no theme for me, but I did the same thing last year and never really had issues with what I should write about. And 1526 people?! WHOA. That's incredible!
ReplyDeleteMy train has left the station, smooth tracks ahead.
ReplyDeleteI am! I am! and a lovely trip it has been so far! Glad the challenge is finally here!
ReplyDeleteGreat start! Wonderful idea and love the pic. This will be fun as always. It really is easy.

Punch my ticket! I'm ready!

Here we go! I think I can, I think I can...
ReplyDeleteHere we go!!!!! I know it's early but want to meet me on the car that has the alcohol? I could use a drink. Lol!! Happy A-Zing!
ReplyDeleteOn board, smiling and already frazzled!
ReplyDeleteI'm not on board, but I'll be at your destination with cookies and lemonade for everyone!
ReplyDeleteI'll have some of those cookies and lemonade, Julie! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm on board and excited to see what everyone else brings on the A to Z train!
I'm not sure yet, if I'll have a theme develop, or if I'll just be winging it. This is my first time trying this challenge. I hope it helps me with new sorts of blogging ideas as well as giving me the chance to see some new blogs/bloggers.
ReplyDeleteI have a theme (Jerusalem), I have my words (or names in my case), but I haven't written or scheduled posts. Hope I get through this... ~Miriam
ReplyDeleteThis is my first time and looking forward to it. Cleaver that you had two A's to start us off.
ReplyDeleteGlad to be part of this mania!
ReplyDeleteI'm aboard! Definitely going to be a fun-filled, crazy kind of month, but I'm looking forward to it. : )

ReplyDeletegood call!
ReplyDeleteall in and all aboard!
We'll all be frazzled messes by May 1st but hopefully we'll be messes with new blogging friends and have lots of fun/interesting information in our frazzled heads.
ReplyDeleteI’m doing the A to Z Challenge too at A to Z of Nostalgia
I think we all are going to be more than frazzled. I'm holding my breath til May!

Nothing wrong with being a frazzled mess! It's kinda fun! :)
ReplyDeleteI was planning to be all packed and ready to go well in advance. Got three days sorted at least.

Cool start to the month. :) Already I have read so many great posts. Can't wait for each day's readings
ReplyDeletecount me in :)
ReplyDeleteI made out a list of topics and wrote about a half-dozen of my posts in advance, but part of the reason I started blogging was to force myself to write something everyday, so A to Z slots right - or write! - into that goal.
ReplyDeleteIt's already a smashing success! And I love wingin it! I do have my characters selected for each letter, but I write the post spontaneously. I did that last year with no theme and it was the most fun I'd had blogging... just picking a word and going with it.
ReplyDeleteI definitely see a blog-cation for May in my future!!!
This month is going to be amazing!
ReplyDeleteBeth Stilborn, http://www.bethstilborn.com
I'm on board. Just hope I don't fall off.
ReplyDeleteI've been reading A to Z blogs all morning and I'm enjoying it very much.
ReplyDeleteI'm excited! First time doing the A-Z and we'll see how it goes!
ReplyDeleteSaffron Wine
I've sketched out my topics, and along the way, I'll be talking planes, trains and automobiles.
ReplyDeleteAll aboard, indeed.

ReplyDeleteI'm on board and ready to go.
ReplyDeleteGreetings, DL, and thanks for stopping by my place. Looking forward to this train ride of adventure and exploration.
ReplyDeleteI am all aboard and ready for this to be a great month!
ReplyDeleteI'm with ya, HL = I have 25 of 26 posts scheduled w. books I've read, but I haven't yet written any recommendations after A (got it posted on time at least).
ReplyDeleteAs a military brat, I understand about not having a hometown, too. So now, home is where we make it!

As you know, I was going to pre-write and schedule, but then the Great Notebook Mystery of 2012 occurred and have nothing written except for A, which I did yesterday. So I think I'm something hybrid: everything planned, yet nothing written. So I'm not really a pantser, maybe more of a capri-er...I think it's good that there's at least a few hosts who aren't completely done with all their posts so we can relate to those challenge participants who are wining it along with us. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. As to the frazzled mess? Yup. I'll be right there with you.

A smiling mess is a good mess. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's my first Challenge ride, and it's turning out to be fun. Going to LA end of month but have a few posts ahead.
ReplyDeleteAs I posted on the A-Z blog earlier... but will repeat here...
ReplyDeleteBought my ticket early...
It's been inspected, punched, stored safely in my bag, and I've secured a good seat with an excellent view of the passing landscape!
Yay, I'm so excited for the Challenge and have hopped on board. It's going to be a fun month!
ReplyDeletegot my ticket and ready for a long ride! thanks!
ReplyDeleteLove train rides, and am already enjoying the A-Z blogging challenge. Some wonderful "stuff" out there.

I've got my ticket! I'm excited for this adventure. Onward!
ReplyDeleteI'm on board!
ReplyDeleteThis is my second year doing this and I'm being a bit more structured than I was last year. Good luck with the spontaneity.
ReplyDeleteMy ticket has been punched and I have got my seat. This is going to be some ride.
ReplyDeletePamela Jo
Frazzled? Yes indeed. Last year, I had more than week's posts done before we started. Not this year; as of yesterday, I'd finished A.
ReplyDeleteBut don't get me wrong. I'll be smiling the entire way. Partly because I'll be enjoying myself, but mostly because it makes other people think I'm up to something.
It's going to be a wild ride! Where's Mr. Toad? Cheers from Let's Get Out of Here!
ReplyDeleteI'm aboard and flying by the seat of my pants. I post every day as a matter of course...but I usually start writing and go where my thoughts take me (having ADHD helps). this is different for I have a place where I need to end up. Darn train!
ReplyDeleteRhia #873 on A to Z list
1st day done, and am all exhausted. What a trip This one's going to be!
ReplyDeleteI'm taking the challenge, and yeah... lol I'll probably be frazzled at the beginning of May too.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your challenge. No, I'm not doing it, but I'll swing by every now and then to show support :)
ReplyDeleteI'll be on the platform at the train station watching as everyone rides past. I'm hoping to visit lots of new blogs thanks to Lee, but I'm not posting in A-Z this year. I'm on a roll in my mg novel and don't want to mess up my muse. Have fun everyone!
ReplyDeleteCount me on board...
ReplyDeleteMy theme is 10x10. A maximum of ten sentences, a minimum of 100 words.
Love writing flash fiction.
My ticket is stamped, and we're already deep into some beautiful blog scenery!
